Maverick Culture and Code Foundation is a not for profit company registered in Ahmedabad, India. It is working since 2014, founded by Mr Vidhesh Pandey.
Main focus: Education, Health, Women Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Program.
How Fellows Will engage in These Programs
Fellows will be engaging in 8-10 effective weeks competence-based program “Maverick Sprint Fellowship” (MSF) build around the community, youth and women.
The 10-week fellowship program will be around 4 phases:
Developing basic knowledge and information on a given project
Understanding the core and subproblems; create solution-oriented ideas around the problem
Exploration through idea implementation and challenging self-perceived competence
Data analysis and Report Writing
At the end of the fellowship, fellows will have acquired practical knowledge, other than the capacity to analyze data and deliver project related outputs.
The fellows will implement the information and knowledge building around the main policy areas: health, education and micro-enterprise, loan processes (micro-financing) and startups. This task will allow them to acquire transversal knowledge as well as relational and social skills.
Furthermore, they will focus on economic studies to answer issues such as why some entrepreneurship models are successful and some are failing, and the types of economy which can be developed and improved for the local community.
Knowledge, Skills, competences to be acquired by the end of the program:
Working in India, a country with vivid and multidimensional culture, fellows will be pushed to challenge themselves and step out from the comfort zone. During the stay, fellows will get project management insights, sharpen their communication, data analysis and critical thinking skills, other than the ability to work in team and to adjust to new and different working contexts.
